Current Sermon Series: So many followers of Jesus struggle to connect what they read in the Bible and what they hear at church with real, everyday life. Faith seems like something that we talk about in a vacuum and seems so sterile and distant from what we experience each and every day. This Fall we are walking through the New Testament book of James in the series, "Real Faith for Real Life." We will see that James is a practical "How-To" guide for living our faith in Jesus Christ.

Find It Here: Churches in the Kentucky Baptist Convention are partnering in a state-wide effort to share the gospel with each household in the state by next Easter. This campaign begins this Fall with a prayer walk/drive emphasis. Our church will walk or drive many of the roads in Bath County as we pray for the people living in the homes, businesses, government officials, and so forth. We will have two prayer walk training sessions to introduce you to the philosophy of prayer walking and to some suggestions. You only need to attend one of these one-hour training sessions.
We are continuing to prayer walk/drive our area. The second part of this initiative will transpire in the Spring when we go back to each home in our area and hang a bag with the gospel and information about our church on each door. Upcoming Prayer Walks:
Saturday, February 13
Saturday, February 20
Saturday, February 27
You can find out more about the Find It Here campaign at the KBC website.

12 @ 12:12 Tuesday Prayer Campaign. All church members are encouraged to stop what they are doing (if they can) every Tuesday at 12:12 p.m. and pray for 12 minutes up through Easter. This time was chosen because it is easy to remember and it is about the time the invitation will be extended on Easter Sunday. Here are 12 items for which to pray:
Our church to bring glory to God
Our unity as a church family
Our growing love for Christ
Our growing love for people
Our growth as discipels of Christ
Our vibrant worship of our King
Our efforts to impact Bath County
Our communication of the gospel
Our financial support of our church
Our active participation in church
For 200 people to attend Easter
For 12+ responses to the gospel
This initiative will replace the Tuesday 6 a.m. prayer time.
